CEDAR CITY, UTAH!

At an elevation of 5,800 feet, the climate is semi-arid with temperatures ranging
from the high 80s to the low 20s.

And just 18 miles south of Cedar City, the Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park which offers a scenic drive and great hiking trails. Follow Hwy 14 as it heads through the lush forest on Cedar Mountain and past scenic Navajo Lake.
Then go North on 15 to see the Parowan Gap Petroglyphs which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places signifying its importance as a cultural treasure!
